About Me
Hi,

My name is Becky Mason and I am a lampwork artist and jewelry designer.  I am also a full time residential mortgage lender, something I've done for almost 22 years.  Because my "real" job can often be very stressful, I realized several years ago that I needed to find a creative outlet to add balance to my life.  I have always had a love of art, and I grew up in a family of very talented people.  Throughout my life I naturally gravitated to various forms of art, trying to "find myself."  When I finally happened across lampwork bead making in 2001, I knew that my God-given talent had finally found a home!

Through the generous support of my incredible husband Rick, who built me a fabulous studio, I am able to spend most of my spare time behind my torch making beads or creating one-of-a-kind pieces of artisan jewelry.  The most difficult decision I'm faced with on my free days is whether I want to make beads or make jewelry, because I love them both equally.

I also love sharing my passion for bead making and jewelry design with others.  My sister Diane Woodall www.dianewoodall.com was my very first student almost 6 years ago.  Since then I've had dozens of students.

In addition to selling items on my website, I also have an Esty store where I sell my beads and finished jewelry.  Here is the link to my Etsy store.  http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6024600

For the past 3 years I have been an avid supporter of the Beads of Courage.  Click this link www.beadsofcourage.net  if you'd like to learn more about BOC.

I can't end without telling you about my father John Mason who was nice enough to pass along his artistic genes to me and my sister Diane.  He is a very talented artist who was an amateur jewelry maker back when we were teens.  He did silver and goldsmithing and also cut and polished his own stones for setting.  These days he creates most of his art using his computer.  His computerized picture frames are beautiful, and some are so realistic looking that people have emailed him to ask where they can buy his frames.  His website is www.juliomac.com.

Thank you for checking out my website.  If you have any questions or comments, they are always welcome.
