Hi,

 

My name is Becky Mason and I am a lampwork artist and jewelry designer.  I am also a full time mortgage broker, something I've done for over 23 years.  Because my "real" job can often be very stressful, I realized several years ago that I needed a creative outlet to add balance to my life.  I have always had a love of art, and I grew up in a family of very talented people.  Throughout my life I naturally gravitated towards various forms of art, trying to "find myself."  When I finally happened across lampwork bead making in 2001, I knew that my God-given talent had finally found a home! 

 

Through the generous support of my incredible husband Rick, who built me a fabulous studio, I am able to spend most of my spare time behind my torch making beads, or sitting in my cozy chair creating one-of-a-kind pieces of artisan jewelry.  The most difficult decision I'm faced with on my free days is whether I want to make beads or make jewelry, because I love them both equally.

 

I also love sharing my passion for bead making and jewelry design with others.  My sister Diane Woodall www.dianewoodall.com was my very first student almost 8 years ago.  Since then I've had dozens of students, and they are all successful bead makers.   I have also made a group of life-long friends through my love of bead making.
